LeaveThemCovered.com is an independent information site published by Cowan Services LLC, a Virginia company with a background in public-records data and property valuation.

We started it for a simple reason: too many families find out, at the worst possible moment, that there's no money set aside for a funeral or for the bills that keep coming. Meanwhile, much of what's online about life and burial insurance is either a carrier brochure or an ad dressed up as a “government benefit.” We try to do better — explain the options honestly, show the real costs, and build free tools that don't ask for your phone number.
